Born in Crescent City, my family made the big move to Humboldt
County when I was only two. I did most of my upbringing in Friendly Fortuna. After graduating high school, I enrolled in our own
Humboldt State University where I majored in Kinesiology. I finished up my
credential in Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education and ventured out into the real world. While working
at College of the Redwoods, our local community college,
I started taking Real Estate courses for fun. After taking some time off after having my daughter, I decided to take
the plunge and become a real estate agent. After all, I was obsessed with real estate after buying my first house with
my husband in 2001. It's turned out to be more rewarding and challenging than I expected... and I love it! In
2007, 2008 and 2009, I was one of the top producing salespersons at Cornerstone Realty. I was second only to our broker.
When I am not stalking the interent looking up new listings and working on my "business" (seriously, I enjoy
this so much that it doesn't even seem like work), I am busy chasing my two young children. I also enjoy coaching youth
sports, staying physically active, working on my home and garden and having coffee with friends and family. In 2008
I walked 39 miles and raised over $1800 for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
providing resources to the underinsured. In these tough economic times, I feel it's an even more important event and
foundation to be a part of and so I signed on to walk the L.A. Walk in September. To view my progress go to www.avonwalk.org and either search for me or my team, Humboldt Pinks.
I look forward to meeting you and maybe even having
coffee together!
